I have absolutely loved watermelon my whole entire life, it was definitely my favorite fruit to eat on a hot summer day but one day that soon changed. One hot summer day, my mom got a huge watermelon from the grocery store and since it was really hot, she cut it up for me and my siblings. We would get bowls of watermelon that was cut in small shapes that were easy to eat and I use to get huge portions of the pieces of watermelon since I loved it so much. As I was eating the watermelon, my mouth started feeling really funny like a tingling sensation in my mouth that which I felt in previous allergies but I ignored it because I just didn’t want to stop eating the bowl and I was extremely hot so it made no sense for me to stop. Over the years I kept ignoring the tingling sensation in my mouth and lips even when my lips would break out in small bumps but eventually I couldn’t keep ignoring it. It kept getting worse so I had to stop eating watermelon and regret that I didn’t listen to what my body was telling me.
