Dairy

I have a mild dairy allergy, meaning that eating dairy products like milk and cheese won't hurt me, but it will make me very uncomfortable. This makes it a little tricky to know how to eat. I read food labels and ask waiters about dairy. I get stressed, but I have to laugh after the fact. I remember one time, I was at an Italian restaurant with some friends. I ordered something that I thought would be fine. What I didn't know was that the restaurant had added cheese to the food without asking me. I didn't think anything of it, but I started to feel some discomfort after an hour. With time, it got worse, and I spent the rest of the night running to the bathroom. I really didn't enjoy it, but it was funny picturing it afterwards. I could see me rushing to the bathroom while my friends were playing games and watching a movie. The slight allergy to dairy has made me more cautious about what I eat and prepared me for anything that could come up. It has also made me learn to laugh at myself because I know I could eat something I'm allergic to no matter how careful I am.
