Bees

I have a mild allergy to bee stings, and while it may cause a considerable amount of pain, it is not life-threatening. I still have to be cautious when bees are around. I remember one incident that was very surprising. I was sitting outside on a bench and, without taking any precautions, sat down on a bee. I felt a sharp pain in my behind and was convinced that I was getting stung. I was a little panicked and thought I could be getting stung multiple times. After sitting down, I jumped up and started waving my arms to indicate a bee was flying around, while people around me were laughing. It turned out I was in no danger at all and had only sat on a dead bee.

I have learned to be cautious when I am outside. I have to exercise caution when I am about to sit on any benches, picnic tables, or even when I sit on grass because I don’t want to be stung. I have also been able to embrace the funny side of the incident. It is a funny story to tell my friends, and it helps distract them when they get anxious around bees.
